"needed help to smog car that had sat over a year & had check engine light on when parked. was denied due to my tags being over 365 days old. Crazy! If my tags were less than 365 days old why would I be asking for their help. I obviously would not need their help because it must have passed smog for me to have my current tags. I am a retired white female who has worked her entire life & it seems every time I request help from our government I get turned down. Maybe I should go across the border, get a good tan & come back into the US as a foreigner then I would definitely get help. Unbelievable how differently the US citizens born & raised here are treated!"

"I felt mediation would have been helpful. Investigator never offered this to me and never interviewed my witness. He took my information over the phone and never called me to. clarify anything or to get my evidence, etc. He went to mechanics shop, sat down with him and basically believed what he said over what I said. He supposedly issued some sort of little citations to the mechanic for not giving me a written estimate. When it was all over I didn't even get a copy of the report so I really have no idea what went on. Although investigator did say there is very little they can enforce. I have to subpoena the report and cannot see it before going to court…if I decided to do that. I got absolutely nothing from the BAR. Why are they even in existence. They are truly worthless in my opinion. If I had known I wouldn't even be told what the outcome of the investigation was I would have never waisted my time. Another government entity that shouldn't even exist because they do nothing."
