RReStart Academy is a NYCDOE/District 79 program that provides educational services to overage 7th and 8th graders to ensure their success in meeting promotion criteria. Its program is located within nine community high schools and each offers small classes, rigorous instruction, intensive student support services plus a variety of extracurricular activities. ReStart Academy’s middle school program enrolls students throughout the school year. For the 2021–2022 school year, the Restart middle school program had a 95% promotion rate. It offers trimesters.
