MDCR offers a voluntary registration program for service animals. Individuals will receive an official Registered Service Animal identification card and a patch for their service animal.
Eligibility Requirements
People with disabilities,
Must have a disability for which a service animal is required. Service must be other than emotional support, companionship, therapy for others, or crime deterrence. Animal must be fully trained, housebroken, and able to be kept under handler’s control.
