Eligibility Requirements
Priority given to the following groups: veterans and eligible spouses; income eligible; test below 9th grade level in reading or math; recipient of public cash assistance; and/or Detroiters facing challenges such as criminal background.
Documentation Needed to Enroll
For all programs: US work authorization and proof of birthdate/age and priority group status. For some programs: proof you were laid off from a job and Detroit/neighborhood residency.
