Bay Legal’s consumer law practice represents clients in cases involving: fair credit reporting, fair debt collection practices, defending third-party debt collection lawsuits, bankruptcy counseling and advice, unfair and deceptive advertising of financial products and services, foreclosure prevention, innocent spouse tax relief, federal student loan consolidation and disability discharge assistance, and criminal background check issues on housing/employment applications.
