United Activities Unlimited (UAU)
Information Status
UAU’s Learn & Earn Program provides year-round work readiness, college readiness, leadership development, basic life skills, and employment opportunities for high school juniors and seniors. Through interactive workshops, program activities, guest speakers, professional panels, and an additional year of wraparound services. After school programming is focused on financial literacy, academic counseling, career exploration, and college application assistance. In addition, students have the opportunity to receive a sixteen week winter internship and a six-week paid internship during the summer to teach them hands on job skills training.

Foster youth (current or former),
Family income at or below 100% of poverty line. At least one applies: deficient in basic literacy, homeless, runaway, in foster care or aged out of foster care, pregnant/parenting; offender; has a disability; an English language learner.,
